Wreath Making-
This listing is for a fresh flower wreath workshop!
Adults only!
18+ No experience required
The wreath you are making will be similar to the one pictured above. I will supply everyone with the same base foliage and flowers and there will be extra materials, and you can use to add your own unique twist on the wreath. There will be teas and coffee available and a few festive nibbles to enjoy!
The wreath base you will be using is moss covered straw base which measures 30cm. With the flowers and Foliage attached, the wreath will measure around 50cm
A fresh flower wreath is designed to be hung up outside on an external door. This is where your wreath will last the longest and it will look fresher for longer. Fresh wreaths will last a couple of weeks making them perfect for the festive season!
To keep your wreath looking as fresh as possible, I would recommend keeping the moss base slightly damp. You can do this by lightly spraying the base and some of the foliage with water.
The venue/ Location-
The wreath making workshops will be held at Hall Farm House, Whepstead, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 4TA.
When you come into the farmyard, please follow the signs down to the workshop and park outside the big green doors sign posted Thistles Studio! Please remember the workshops are being held in a working farmyard, so please drive slowly through the yard and park in the allocated area!
The workshops are being held in a barn, so please dress appropriately. I will have heaters on in there, but it may still feel a bit chilly, so please bring a coat!
There is a toilet onsite and running water.
I am allowing around 3 hours to make your wreath. Some may find this is more than enough time, but I have allowed it just in case!
Cancellation- If you are unable to attend, please let me know 48hr before the date of the workshop for a refund. My email- info@thistlesstudio.com
If you need any other info, please get in contact.
I really look forward to meeting you all and getting creative!
